You need to:<\/p>\n<p>1: Install the uSOft 64 bit drivers (finally available)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/download\/en\/details.aspx?displaylang=en&amp;id=13255\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">http:\/\/www.microsoft.com\/download\/en\/details.aspx?displaylang=en&amp;id=13255<\/a><br \/>\nGo to control panel administrative tools\/ODBC Data Sources (64-bit)<br \/>\nand add in the excel driver<br \/>\nDriver is &#8216;Excel 12.0&#8217; and give it a name (eg: Excel :))<\/p>\n<p>2: When setting the merge source in the workflow manager<br \/>\nSelect &#8216;Database&#8217; and enter the name of the driver in the DSN box.<br \/>\nThen comes the undocumented<br \/>\nuSoft trick:<br \/>\nYou need to enter the table name. One might expect that would<br \/>\nbe the name of the excel<br \/>\n&#8216;sheet&#8217; name. CLOSE BUT NO CIGAR! If the name is &#8216;my sheet 1&#8217;<br \/>\nyou need to enter:<\/p>\n<p>[my sheet 1$]<\/p>\n<p>That is, excel tables are named as the sheet name followed by a<br \/>\n&#8216;$&#8217; and then enclosed<br \/>\nin square brackets!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Excel files actually can be used as a merge source.
